VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) : Voip21 from Aussie
Voip21 is a division of Aussie Phone Brokers. Forged by the need for one provider to do connections, hardware, software pricing and support, Aussie was forced to create our own VoIP solution for Australian businesses.
These connections are most commonly used in parallel with one of the traditional solutions shown above.
| Availability: | Access is limited by location, distance from the exchange and the carriers available at that exchange. Voice is transformed into IP packets and transported using the public internet. |
|---|---|
| Stability: | As of 2010, VoIP is considered stable - if the infrastructure is set-up properly. Aussie began using VoIP for 100% of calls in July 2009, and we are satisfied with the stability. |
| Price & Service: | Excellent pricing for calls to Local and STD services, best-in-market pricing for calls to Mobile services. Voip21 aims to provide excellent service standards. |
Notes:
Please speak to Aussie Phone Brokers for more information.
IP Trunking Information
| Availability: | Limited access across Australia (practically speaking); since in many areas the appropriate IP trunk access costs are prohibitive. The IP digital voice packets are transported over a 'managed' network; unlike the public IP network of the internet. |
|---|---|
| Stability: | Very stable. Proven for long-term stability and quality on the whole. Voip21 by Aussie Phone Brokers can implement these solutions very sucessfully. |
| Price & Service: | Excellent pricing - but generally only viable for large businesses. Voip21 aims to provide excellent service standards, and we have a preferred supplier of managed Ethernet connections for Australia-wide connections. |
Notes:
» IP Trunks are available from Voip21.
» IP Trunking is an especially attractive option for intra company voice communications between sites.
